• Azrou Cedar Forest: Stop to see the friendly Barbary Macaques in their natural cedar habitat.

• Ziz Valley: Drive through the lush palm groves and fortified villages of the Ziz Valley.

In the late afternoon, you will reach Merzouga. Swap your vehicle for a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Watch a breathtaking sunset over the horizon before arriving at a luxury desert camp.

Evening: Traditional Berber dinner, live campfire music, and a night under the stars.

Wake up early to witness a majestic Sahara sunrise. After breakfast, we travel toward the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.”

• Todra Gorges: Walk through the massive 300-meter-high limestone canyons, a paradise for photographers and nature lovers.

• Ouarzazate: Pass through the “Hollywood of Africa” on your way to the desert’s edge.

• Ait Ben Haddou: Visit this UNESCO World Heritage site. This fortified village (Kasbah) is a stunning example of Moroccan earthen architecture and has served as a filming location for Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Evening: Overnight stay in a traditional Kasbah-style lodge near the site.

Today, we cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m). The winding roads offer panoramic views of Berber villages clinging to the mountainsides.

Arrive in Marrakech, the “Red City,” in the afternoon to begin your sightseeing:

• Bahia Palace: A stunning display of 19th-century Islamic and Moroccan design.

• Koutoubia Minaret: The city’s most famous landmark.

Evening: Final overnight stay in a Riad in Rabat.
